Event Officials (also called "Race Judges") are integral to the safe hosting of harness dog sports events.

 

An EO must be fully versed in the various rules and regulations that ensure the safety and sportsmanship of all human and canine participants and volunteers at harness dog sports events.

 

Ideally, an EO is someone who is not racing in the event they are officiating, and has a strong desire to support the growth and development of the harness dog sports community in the maritimes.
