PARTICIPATION
There are two ways to compete at ACSCA/CAHDS National Championships: in the Championship Class, or in the Sport Class. For more information on the event itself and the classes available, please check out the ACSCA/CAHDS site.

CHAMPIONSHIP CLASSES - PROVINCIAL TEAMS
If you would like the opportunity to be on a Provincial Team, please take the time to read the requirements below and submit the application form for your Provincial Team using the buttons at the bottom of this page.

Selection Process
To race in Canadian Championship Classes, maritime athletes must meet the following standards:

Must be a current MAHDS member.

Must be able to prove participation in a minimum of 4 races during the eligible race seasons (Fall 2022, Spring 2023, Fall 2023, Spring 2024). At least ONE of these must be a MAHDS Regional Circuit event. Results from standard distance races (3km to 6km) are preferred, however, sprint distances will be considered.

You MUST have finished in the top 50% of competitors in EACH of your 4 races to qualify.*
*Note:
To qualify for the Registered Northern Breed Championship category, athletes must be in the top 50% of RNB entries in the class (they are NOT required to be in the top 50% overall). ​
